Let's begin crafting a ceremony that fits both

your ceremony vision and your wedding budget.

Your ceremony is the starting point for your new life together as a married couple.

As a professional Maine Officiant and Lifecycle Celebrant, I will be creating a ceremony that incorporates your personal beliefs, values, story, and commitment in a way that is truly meaningful and reflective of your love.

Typically the awesome couples I work with, describe themselves as very close to their families and friends, being hands-on with their wedding planning, not belonging to a particular religion, an interfaith couple not practicing a religion, or they feel that they are spiritual in their own individual ways.

Couples often want a ceremony that is a bit different than their friends or family wedding ceremonies they have attended in the past, as well as not too long or boring. They wish for something that is fun, lighthearted, but true to them and what they hold most important. Couples appreciate the opportunity to have their ideas heard and have fun being part of the process to create a ceremony that they feel best fits them as a couple.

So how do we get started?

  •  It begins with a First Hello: Let's first engage in a no-obligation, virtual meeting or phone call to learn more about you both and what you desire for your ceremony. I will explain how we will work together and we will decide if we are a great fit to move forward.

  •  Quotes and Contracts: Following our first meeting I will email you an electronic personalized quote and then a contract to sign. Once complete, I am locked in for your wedding date. Everything is done easily and smoothly online. Working remotely ensures you are able to get things done around your busy schedule.

  •  Guidance and Organization: Advice on obtaining your marriage license, help and support for organizing your ceremony and rehearsal, guidance for writing your vows as well as unity rituals including support, samples, and writing suggestions based on your type of ceremony planned.

  • Couples Homework and Ceremony Questionnaires: You may be asked to complete one homework assignment depending on the type of ceremony planned for. There will also be a few ceremony detail questionnaires depending on the size and type of your wedding. They can all be completed easily and efficiently online via your couples portal.

  • Creation and Edits: Here is where the fun begins. I will create the first draft of your ceremony for you to review and edit. You will put your flair, remove what you wish, and keep what you want. We will do this process until it is perfect for you both. Again all done electronically with the occasional text or phone call if needed.

  • Coordinating, Rehearsal, and Officiating: Part of what I do is to help you plan and coordinate your rehearsal and wedding ceremony. If you are planning a rehearsal on that day I will help organize everyone, work with your wedding planner or day-of coordinator and officiate your rehearsal. On your big day I will arrive early, check-in on you both, and the vendors related to the ceremony, ensure the ceremony is ready to proceed, and then get you married.

  • Happily Ever After: After your wedding ceremony, I promptly take care of your marriage license and will submit by mail or hand to the town of origin. I will then send to you a post-wedding package to include copies of the filing, your ceremony keepsake, keepsake marriage certificate, and other related paperwork.
